Miracle Layout

Today I wanted to share a layout of our Granddaughter right after she was born! She is almost five months old now, time is passing too fast! I wanted a soft look so I kept the colors neutral with pink and a little bit of green.

Here are some close-ups of the details. I used the Poetry folder from the Elegance collection on a soft pink cardstock and then inked over it with white. It just suits the sweet photo!

I made the blooms from the Daisy Nesting Die! I used some chalk ink, Glitzin Glamour and Pearls!!!

Start by snipping into every second petal as shown below:

Trim each side of the double petals to look like the one below, ink across each section and in the center.

Add a pearl and Glitzin Glamour around it to finish off the bloom!

Style by Year!!!!

I thought it would be neat to go back and post pics of layouts that I have done over the past years. So I went back to my gallery and grabbed some from November of each year!!!

I got all of these from my sb.com gallery. I started with 2005. This is our oldest ds, and this was when I was addicted to Basic Grey!! The big alphas, and the picture was scanned, and really crooked! LOL!

Layout from November 2005

Layout from November 2006
Hmmm, this one I guess I was just into black and pink!!!! Me with our kids!!! Pretty basic page!

November 2007
More Basic Grey!!! I did add a few blooms and ribbon this time!!!

November 2008
Okay, I guess trying something different, strange colors and some white space here!!! This was our precious baby girl "Speckles".

November 2009
Youngest ds and dd. This was during my time with MyCreativeScrapbook. I still kinda like the black and blue!!!!

November 2010
Blue and Brown, still pretty basic as far as style.

November 2011
Brighter colors, more relaxed style. I'm liking this still!! LOL!

November 2012
And this time last year, Websters Pages!!! Still seeing blue here! LOL! And I don't even consider that one of my favorite colors!!!

Now 2013, here is a favorite page from the present!!! This is a CC page that I've already shared, but it represents now!!!

This was a fun journey, I would love to see some others do this as well, so interesting to see how our styles evolve and change, or at least some of us! Mine is still pretty much the same really!!! Thanks so much for dropping by! I always appreciate your visits!!!!

I'll start of with a couple of pages done with the Classic Christmas Cardstock collection! These papers are so pretty, and there are so many patterns!!!! All have matching embellishments available also.

These are from the All Occassion 3D Garland Sentiment set.

This one is from the Christmas Garland Sentiment stickers.

This one was done with the Stamp Storage Binder with 30 Stamps.

The next couple are  with the Border Stickers!

And last, one with one of the gorgeous embossing folders.

Oh, almost last, lol, this is one more with the Christmas paper and stickers!

My First Tresors de Luxe post!!!

Today is my very first post with Tresors de Luxe and I am so excited to be a part of this team! They have the most lucious laces, trims and embellishments!

I chose to do a layout of our sweet Kinsey Grace! I used two different laces on this, a beautiful pink venice and a smaller ivory floral. I used these along the borders of the pink patterned paper.

Here you can see the detail of the ivory.

Here you see one of the cute little pink sprays with pearl accents!

The blooms are paper, but I cut the beautiful pink leaves from the Dusty Rose cluster and used them for embellishments. they look gorgeous against the beautiful pink lace!!!

Another peek of the cute little spray!

Below are the materials that I used:

Ivory Venice Embroidered Floral Lace Trim LA-083

Dusty Rose Fabric Flower Spray w/white pearls PF-029

Pink Venice Lace LA-171

Pink Fabric Flower Spray w/white Pearls PF-041

I hope you enjoyed my first project, I certainly enjoyed creating it. There are so many gorgeous choices in this shop, it's really hard to choose, but I know that whatever your need you will find something that you just love!!!
